Big cams, high cam overlap, superchargers, turbo chargers… All of these create problems when using a vacuum powered brake booster. No vacuum=no assist. This means a very hard pedal and limited braking ability. This master cylinder does not rely on vacuum for the assit but rather a remotely located small power suffly. This fully self contained unit allows the master cylinder to provide 1400 to 2500psi.
